"Omniverse It!" is an experimental short film that explores the capabilities of NVIDIA Omniverse, a powerful and collaborative 3D content creation platform. Omniverse enables artists and designers to seamlessly work together in real-time, leveraging the full potential of NVIDIA's RTX technology.

In this project, I set out to discover what could be achieved with Omniverse in five days. The platform was incredibly user-friendly, requiring minimal learning time and providing access to a vast library of well-prepared assets and impressive features. I used Audio2Face to create realistic lip-syncing for the characters in time with the music, and Retargeting to apply the same animation to multiple characters simultaneously.

The Sequencer allowed me to effortlessly stretch animated sequences without losing motion quality, making it easy to edit the film in time with the music and play it back in real-time. The platform's support for multi-GPU and RTX technology enabled the import of large-scale scenes in USD format while also allowing real-time rigid body and smoke simulations.

Omniverse's path-tracing renderer produced stunningly detailed results, complete with beautiful motion blur, depth of field, and highly accurate environment lighting. The final movie required no post-production work, as it came straight out of Omniverse. I look forward to further exploring the platform's rigging system and integrating it into my workflow for future projects.
