Masaki Yokochi is an independent Director, Designer and Animator known for his innovative and creative work. His designs for companies like Apple, among other famous brands, have created a distinctive mark on contemporary pop-culture. Masaki fluidly works across all mediums, creating designs and animation for interactive, broadcast, film, print, software user-interface and VR/AR/XR. A native of Japan, been living in Venice, CA, his creative sensibility is noted for a sense of balance, elegance and order.

He has been a key creative player on signature creative internal projects for many major brands over the past 20 years. His animation work also was part of an Oscar winning documentary and he has been part of several Emmy award winning teams. On top of his creativity he is able to work from concept to finish because he has a wide range of skills.

In recent years he has expanded his reach into real-time render and pursuing other more innovative technology. All his best work has been related to tech and he currently loves this real-time rendering since it's very new and has tremendous possibilities.

While he specializes in design, animation and VFX, his passion is for creative projects driven by new technology since it’s unexplored creatively and that inspires him to find new and innovative solutions.
